今天早上收到来自Google的邮件。

邮件中说：

As a result, over the course of 2010, we will be phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as well as other older browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.

总的意思是说，为了提高Google产品的质量和效率，2010年3月1日起，将不再支持I6等老牌浏览器。今后，如果使用Ie6浏览Google Doc ，Googe Site等服务时，将显示一个提醒更换浏览器的页面。

Google Apps will continue to support Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.0 and above, Google Chrome 4.0 and above, and Safari 3.0 and above.

Google 将继续支持IE7,Firefox3.0,Chrome 4.0,Safari3.0及以上版本，没有提到Opear,不知道使用Opear是否会有问题。

Google如此大张旗鼓的宣布对浏览器的支持，这是史无前例的。

由网站来驱动用户更换浏览器，以更好的提供优质的服务。

听起来很美，但这多少有点强奸民意的味道。

自从Google推出Chrome浏览器以来，Google的意图很明显，就是要让Chrome占领计算机桌面.

从xuming.net的Google Analytics看

目前IE用户占到了53.37%

其中IE6.0的用户达到了57.27%

也就是说IE6.0的用户占到了53.37%×57.27%＝30.56%

这是一个相当庞大的数量。

浏览Xuming.net的用户，以IT人士为主，所以在其他类型的网站里，这个比例会更大一点。

刚刚使用IE6浏览了一下Google Docs,发现多了一行提示，
